Ruby on Rails Developer - Core Engineering
San Francisco-based startup Vast.com (http://www.vast.com) is seeking for Ruby on Rails developers at all experience levels. We offer the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies with a high degree of freedom and responsibility in design and implementation. You will be a part of a small team of dedicated Engineers in our Belgrade office.
Your responsibility will be to drive a full-blown RoR applications through whole development cycle - from a rough requirements to production.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong and demonstrable knowledge of Ruby on Rails
- Solid knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL are a plus)
- Working knowledge of SVN
- Excellent communication skills and at least intermediate proficiency in the English language
- Good analytical abilities, fast learner
A plus would be:
- 3+ years experience in related field
- BSc/MSc in Computer Sciences or related
- Experience with one of following languages: Python, Java or C/C++
- Experience with test-driven-development
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
