Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Oracle, PL/SQL Oracle Database Administrator to be involved with the day to day support of the production database environments. Also, you will be involved with the planning and implementation of the application upgrades and the provision of database upgrades and database software installations. To be successful for this role you will have extensive production Oracle DBA experience (ideally with Oracle 9i & 10g), experience of SQL, PL/SQL and Shell Scripting under UNIX and SUN SOLARIS operating systems, experience in using and implementing database monitoring tools, knowledge of backup & recovery technologies (RMAN, Dataguard, Veritas).
