SharePoint, Developer, Administrator, .net, Visual Studio
Our client, a leading global Media company, is looking for a SharePoint Developer to join their IT Development Team to assist with providing SharePoint solutions to business customers.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Manage and improve existing SharePoint sites
Develop new sites
Hold responsibility for the development lifecycle, which includes requirements gathering, written specifications, quality assurance, delivery and documentation
Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ascertain whether SharePoint is a viable solution
Provide technical support on all SharePoint related products
Liaise with team manager about product enhancements and strategic improvements
Work alongside the Microsoft administrators to provide a stable and efficient environment
Tasks will include installing, migrating and configuring SharePoint environments
Manage the C#/ASP.net web interfaces between SharePoint and other products
Possibility of work on a selection of mini ASP.net applications
The Developer will need to display the following skills:
SharePoint development experience using the browser, SharePoint designer and Visual Studio
Understanding of object orientated programming principals
SharePoint customisation: Designer workflows, Visual Studio workflows, Event Receivers and Custom Master pages
Out of the box SharePoint 2013 features
Web development using C#, ASP.Net and JavaScript
Integrating systems using Web Services in particular JSON/REST
