Prema 2checkout (

Citat:
Over the last nine years, there has been a tremendous increase in the use of credit cards to make online purchases, from 10% in 1996 to nearly 40% in 2003.
At the same time, there has been a corresponding increase in fraudulent purchases made using generated or stolen credit cards. In the U.S. in 2003, there was an estimated $1.27 billion of online credit card fraud and by 2005 that number was estimated to reach $2.6 billion. And it may not be only credit cards that are the fraud target: Gartner Group's controversial 2005 study suggested that a staggering $2.75 billion could be associated with debit card fraud.
And consider this statistic-- the median value of a fraudulent order is 50% higher than the $100 median value of a valid order.

Meni je ovo, jednostavno receno, neverovatno! Racuna se da su transakcije u vrednosti od $2,6 milijardi (kreditne kartice) + $2,75 milijardi (debitne kartice) = $5,35 milijardi - fraud, odnosno izvrsene ukradenim kreditnim karticama (podacima)?
