Online Advertising Solutions Ltd. is an ad network for online-video advertising running the two services SpotRails (
http://www.spotrails.com) and Captain Ad (
http://www.captainad.com). The company, situated in Germany’s capital Berlin, was founded in October 2007.
We are a small development team, which operates the ad server and the customer frontends needed to run state of the art video campaigns. We work distributed: a part of the team in Berlin the other patrt in our office in central Belgrade.
Responsibilities
You will join our IT team, implementing and maintaining a high performance and reliable ad server and customer management system. In the course you will work with cutting edge technology. All our hardware is cloud based and we use modern scale-out database technology. Our development philosophy is end-to-end driven, you will specify, design, architect, implement and test new functionality. We expect you to work creatively, always looking for the best solution to solve a challenging problem.
Requirements
University Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
Minimum 3 year experience in software engineering
Database knowledge
Experience implementing APIs
Knowledge of Linux administration a plus
Good English language skills
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys building high quality products. You are not a programming language evangelist, even though you do have strong opinion what makes a good language, you use what it takes to get the job done. Strong personal initiative and a “getting things done” mentality are essential.
