Service Improvements
To improve your VPS experience, we have been upgrading our hardware nodes and migrating your VPS to the new nodes. Our newest hardware nodes have the following specs:
- Dell Enterprise PowerEdge 2950
- Dual Intel Clovertown E5345-E5355 (8 cores with a total of 18.64 - 21.28 GHz computing power)
- 32 GB of ECC Registered memory, so your VPS will spend (or avoid) using the swap memory!
- multiple drives in RAID10 backed by hardware RAID controllers, to guarantee fast disk I/O
In addition, we have implemented advanced backup system using R1Soft CDP (Continuous Data Protection). Our 4.8 TB RAID10 (upgradeable to 18 TB) dedicated backup node is currently doing backup of your VPS multiple times a day (every 4 hours for Linux/CentOS VPS and every 8 hours for Windows VPS) ensuring you access to your most recent data.
Last, but not least, all of these improvements are offered to you at no additional cost. In fact, with the introduction of our new plans, we have managed to even lower our VPS pricing, giving you, our valued customers, the "best bang for the buck".
