An Innovative Financial Technology Start Up, who are creating a cloud based analytics solution, is looking to add a Senior Python Developer to work in a highly agile environment creating a cloud based platform in Python.
As the Senior Python Developer (Django, Cloud, Agile, TDD) you will have a tremendous opportunity to work in a highly agile environment creating almost entirely Greenfield code. You will work in a 5 man Python Development Team and will operate using extreme programming techniques such as pair programming and coding sprints. Given the analytics nature of the platform there will also be elements of research and you will be asked to fully understand the algorithms that are behind the Python code.
This firm has been operating for the last 2 years and have already signed up a number of Beta clients to the platform. They have attracted a lot of attention in the industry and you will have the chance to grow with the firm as the technical team grows. Technology is front and centre of what they do so you will be working in one of the most important areas of the company.
Essential Skills:
4+ years of Python Development
University Degree or similiar
Ideal Skills:
Ideally have experience of another development language such as C++, Java, C# or JavaScript
Strong agile environment experience
Experience with extreme programming such as Pair Programming
Have an interest in Open Source Development
